WHAT IS IT ????

Doctrine is when you are organising what we know from the Bible in a systematic way. (A dictionaries description for the word sysematic is 'following a system; methodical') We can take a certain topic (e.g. God, Sin, forgiveness, etc) and then we gather all the biblical teaching on it and bring it all together. There are many sectors of Doctrine. One of these many sectors is about the Deity Of Christ. The Deity Of Christ basically means that Jesus is FULLY God. There are also a lot of verses in the Bible that confirm that Jesus is FULLY God. In Luke ch 3 v 21-23 it says: "When all the people were being baptised, Jesus was baptised too. And as He was praying, heaven was opened 22. and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in boldly form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are My beloved Son In whom I an well pleased." Another point in the Bible when it shows the deity of Christ is in the Ascension. In Matthew chapter 17 in talks about when Jesus went up the mountain with His disciples and He was transfigured. "a
