A
small number of students do a GCSE in Music.
In addition to
studying the nature and structure of music and the different
types of music that might be used in different situations
and settings, like film music, music for dance or special
occasions, the students are also required to do an individual
performance on an instrument of their choice.

This counts for 12.5%
of their final exam mark. The following are samples of individual
performances from our current Y11 GCSE Music group.
